Pregnancy complications usually out of your control
So you started feeling cravings for certain types of foods and at the same time felt nausea several times a day. Perhaps a little cramping also, which led you to buy a pregnancy test that gave you a positive, and now you are going to have a baby. Few things in life can match this experience. For the next 9 months you will have a living being inside your tummy, feeling its every move.
A pregnancy is usually divided in to three trimesters, and knowing what to expect during pregnancy can be a great help and comfort. The first trimester starts after you conceive, and is famous for one of the worst symptoms of pregnancy, which is nausea. It is often called morning sickness, but because it can occur at any time of day that label is a bit misleading.
As you go through the trimester you might concerned about complications during pregnancy. Since most complications are out of your control it is best to let these thoughts go, and focus on the factors you can control. Have a good dialogue with your doctor, and let him or her know whenever you feel something isn’t right, or you just have a question about a certain symptom.
What you can control is your diet, workout regime, and the things you put in to your body. Smoking is of course a BIG no no, but you should also think twice about getting too much second hand smoke down your lungs, and ultimately in to the veins of you unborn child. You should also ask your doctor for vitamin and supplement recommendations. Eating healthy and getting some workout should also be on your list, and are great habits to take with you in to your new life as a mother.
