Meet Pipsqueak: Yellow Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have undoubtedly heard about the hottest toy of the 2009 Christmas season- Zhu Zhu Pet hamsters. What is odd is that the toys only debuted last month and already they have sold out in retails stores everywhere, although new stocks are in transit. Stores are rationing the new items, however. Zhu Zhu Pets can be found on Amazon and on EBAY but at higher prices than regular in-stock retail.

Zhu Zhu Pets are plush toy hamsters that hare programmed with a microchip that allows them to interact with their environment. Children have the experience of owning a real live hamster and the parent doesn’t have to deal with the mess and responsibility. There are four different Zhu Zhu Pets Pipsqueak, Num Nums, Chunk, and Mr. Squiggles. Pipsqueak is probably the most popular as it is adorably cute with its gleamy yellow coat. Pipsqueak hamster is also one of the more active personalities and kids probably love this as well.
