The mermaid has featured in countless stories and movies over the years and in all forms, starting with Ulysses’ sirens. Disney’s comedy “Splash” starring Daryl Hannah was such a success that they backed up with “The Little Mermaid”, based on Hans Christian Anderson’s story of the same name.
