How to get a car loan in this credit market
Car loans are the very foundation of the American spirit. How many times have you been daydreaming about getting that red mustang you saw parked at the beach as a kid? Unfortunately, along with real life come real problems. Problems include but are not limited to relationships, family, friends, and especially money. Money problems stem from immaturity and irresponsibility. Unfortunately, you cannot simply “out grow” the indelible marks left by irresponsible past decisions with a credit card you received in college, or simple laziness not paying your bills on time before you realized how this behavior would affect your credit future.
Anyway you got here, it is irrelevant. You have bad credit. You are not a bad person, probably. Maybe you watch too much television or don’t call your parents enough, but by and large we are intrinsically good people I think. So why are we punished? Why are we left out in the cold unable to get the car loan we want? Maybe you have a decent job. Maybe you make 30-40 thousand dollars a year. You have expenses, rent, utilities, adult website subscription, you get the idea. How are YOU supposed to save 20 thousand dollars to buy a respectable car outright? You can’t. You need bad credit car loans that cater to your credit score.
Any Credit Score below 670 is considered “sub prime” so if you are like 60% of everyone in America (or higher) you are not getting a loan very easily. Bad credit car loans are still available through certain banks that specialize in people who have bad credit. The trick is, finding them. Fortunately for you there are dozens of websites out there that specialize in finding auto dealerships who partner with these banks to help you get the car loan you deserve. We all deserve a second chance don’t we?
