A few months ago, I was over at a friend’s house when I noticed a beautiful quilt hanging over the back of the sofa. I asked about it, intending to buy something similar, and was completely shocked when she told me she had made it herself. I wasn’t aware of her hobby, nor was I aware that it was possible for an amateur to create such a stunning quilt. My friend could see that I was clearly interested, so she sent me home with a few quilting supplies and a book to show me how to get started.Ever since then, I try to work on my quilts whenever I have a free moment. I have definitely fallen in love with my new hobby, and wish I had taken this up years ago.
