If you have ever been on a cruise, then you know of all of the amazing things that are included with it. Of course there are the destinations that you will go to, but when you look further, there are so much more. The food on a cruise has always been known to be great, as well as the atmosphere, and entertainment.
You have so many options on the cruise ship for fun, exercise, swimming, dancing, spa treatment, socializing. The list is really endless and I don’t think that you could do everything that most cruises have available to you. Me and my wife went on one in November and where I’m from, that is a cold month! We went to the Eastern Caribbean and hit a few of the Virgin Islands as well as the Bahamas. I remember sitting in the pool on the top deck, with totally blue sky’s at about 85 degrees, thinking that I was in paradise! I really think it was the best time that we’ve ever had alone on a vacation. Although, any vacation alone, without the kids, can be fun!
Once you hit the different points of destinations, this begins a whole different level of fun. There are tons of excursions that you can go on while on shore. You can swim with dolphins, snorkel, shop, or just take a walk and sight see. It is really cool talking to the local people and learning about how they live. While in Tortolla, We asked a taxi cab driver if there was a beach that was off the beaten path and would not have too many people on it. He brought us to a place that was as close to paradise as you can find. We spent around four hours swimming and soaking up the sun and only saw three other people the whole time. After that, the taxi driver came back and picked us up at the time that we had arranged. It really was a great time! We then got back on the cruise ship, got showers, and dined in a five star restaurant! What other kind of vacation can you do so much for such a great price?
The staff of the ship are usually very nice and accommodating and will get you whatever you need. If you need a haircut, manicure, internet access, or just a quiet place to read, you can find all of these things on a cruise ship. A lot of people will use the holiday to take the whole family on a cruise with a Christmas vacation package. That may be the best gift ever! As you can see, I love cruises. I work very hard each day and really enjoy the time to relax and see the world while on a cruise. I like the all-inclusive trips too, but to me a cruise just can’t be beat! If you have never been on one, give it a try, you will soon be hooked like me.
