You can construct your very own wireless network from your home by purchasing a D-Link wireless network kit that includes a PCI adapter. The model DWL-650+ Cardbus Adapter, the DWL-810 Ethernet to Wireless Bridge and the DWL-900AP+ Access Point. The majority of the latest laptops have wireless capabilities built-in, but if you have an older model that doesn’t then you can use the DWL-650+ Cardbus Adapter to connect it to an existing wireless network.
