More on California High Schools
Sometimes you hear the good folks of California complaining about some of the choices in California High Schools, colleges, and student fees etc. But shouldn’t parents and their children just be happy that they have choices in education and spare a little time thinking about all those poor families around the world (our fellow humans), struggling and toiling all day and all nice for just $2 a day and with no hope of any education or get out whatsoever. We in the west are so, so lucky and most of us don’t even realise it. Others may take some religious ideology that they are chosen by their god to be where they are doing what they do, just as some Middle Eastern countries actually believe that their oil rich nations were awarded to them by their god. So what does this mean? Those who struggle in life and never have anything are being punished by their god for whatever reason? No, that can’t be right can it? After all, doesn’t god love all his children equally and unconditionally? The time has come for the well-off peoples of the world to pause for thought and maybe count their blessings instead of complaining about their schools, health care, material possessions, and so on, and think for a minute about those who have nothing in life.
