About a year ago, I purchased my first home. It’s a nice place, not too big, but there’s more than enough room for myself and the occasional guest. It had one major flaw when I purchased it, though. The previous owners had bought the house in the 70s, renovated it, and then made no more updates. Maybe it’s just me, but 70s decor is just not just not my thing. Between the shiny foil wallpaper and the tye-dyed carpet-I hadn’t even known that tye-dyed carpet existed-there was a lot of work to be done.
Wallpaper came down, paint went up, and things began to get a little better. When I got to the point where I could start taking the old carpet out and replacing it with something a little more to my taste, I needed to find affordable floor covering that still looked good. My plan was to start in the entry and kitchen since that’s the first thing visitors would see, but I knew I’d need to replace it throughout the entire house at some point so cost was definitely an issue.
A major service provider in flooring, national floors direct, was one of the locations I sought. It was promoted largely by a acquaintance that I had known who just remodeled his kitchen in a lavish wood set. I enjoyed it a lot so I thought I should give it a shot. Of course that’s not the only spot I went through. Though, having friends come to my commode provided me with the opportunity to use different samples against my furniture instead of heading to a showroom. The idea of how the pieces would look made me fairly inclined towards them.
I didn’t have the budget for hardwood, but the laminate selection they had was fairly wide and I there were several options that fit well with my cabinets and countertops. (Those, fortunately enough, were not bright orange or anything else particularly hideous so I haven’t needed to replace them.) I ended up selecting a laminate that looked like cherry that looks excellent in the entryway.
I noticed that the laminate prices at National Floors were quite comparable with prices in other places I checked; they were not either overpriced or overly cheap, but their range of selection was not too great. However, I found that that there was no additional charge for the stairs at the entry and in the kitchen and in addition shifting most of my larger furniture pieces was also included in their offer, and this made me decide in their favor.
I was very pleased with the job national floors direct did, and several months later I actually ended up buying carpet from them for the living areas and bedrooms as well. It was a different installation crew for the carpeting, but like the first the installers were very professional, and I’m quite happy with the job they did as well as the new look of my house.
National Floors Direct is one of the major service provider in flooring. The laminate prices at national floors are similar to prices found at other stores. The prices that they offered were not the cheapest or the most expensive, but the range between these was not very large. The variety of laminates they have is fairly wide. They have affordable floor covering. You will find carpets for living room and bedrooms too. They offer to come to your places and show various samples. Their crew is very professional and they have various crews for various departments.
